Medea Minds upholds the intellectual property rights of others and strives to maintain a platform that is free from content that infringes upon those rights. Our User Agreement mandates that information posted by Members must be accurate, lawful, and not in violation of the rights of third parties. To support these objectives, Medea Minds has established a process for lodging complaints about content posted by our Members. The policies and procedures related to this are outlined in the following sections.
It's important to note that, regardless of whether we disable access to or remove content, Medea Minds may make a good faith effort to forward the written notification, including the complainant's contact information, to the Member who posted the content. We may also take other reasonable actions to notify the Member that Medea Minds has received notice of an alleged violation of intellectual property rights or other content infringement. In certain circumstances and at our discretion, we may choose to disable and/or terminate the accounts of Members or groups who engage in infringement or repeat infringement of the rights of others or post unlawful content.
Please be aware that any notice or counter-notice you submit must be truthful and must be provided under penalty of perjury. Submitting a false notice or counter-notice may result in personal liability. Therefore, you may wish to consult with legal counsel before submitting such a notice or counter-notice.
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), Medea Minds has established procedures for receiving written notifications of alleged copyright infringements. Medea Minds has designated an agent to receive these notices of claimed copyright infringement.
